SS27 Campaign
Retreat seaside to a place held between river and ocean, where the land softens into slowed days, salt air, and coastal stillness. SS27 unfolds here through a collection shaped by quiet pacing, balanced softness, and a gentle rhythm guided by the tide: Brunswick Heads.
Silhouettes establish a balance of ease, familiarity, and natural movement. Dresses shift between fitted and flared forms, shaped by bias panels, gathered details, intentional frills, and softened openings. Relaxed shirting and separates take form in oversized, wrap, and pared-back styles, alongside wide and cropped trousers and lightweight, floaty skirts. Archive silhouettes return, refined through quiet repetition.
Colour reflects the coastal atmosphere in steady tonal shifts. Cornflower and cloud blue sit against navy and deeper river tones. Timber and earth ground the palette with espresso, taupe, and warm neutrals, while canopy greens move through fern, cypress, and olive. Signature stripes and checks recur throughout, alongside a blurred polka-dot print that echoes tidal reflections.
Materials are natural and responsive, shifting with the body and environment. Cotton, tencel, rayon and viscose form the foundation, supported by softened leather and lightweight summer knits. Breathable and tactile by nature, they are shaped for heat, humidity, and repeated wear, with subtle variations in texture and finish.
Footwear balances ease with playful refinement. Modern clogs, slip-on mules and fisherwoman silhouettes, sit alongside platform heels with architectural form. Contrast stitching, exposed seams, and lightweight flexible soles bring texture and movement, in shades of wine, mushroom, and rich mahogany.
As the sun lowers across paperbark trees and passing holidaymakers, SS27 settles in quiet clarity, suspended in time, translated into considered form. Welcome to Brunswick Heads.
