How did this collaboration come to be?
An exciting opportunity arose during The Social Studios celebration of their 10yr retrospective where a selected range of Australian designers were asked to partake in creating a print that explored the concept of immersion. The print design was then crafted onto a one-off 3-piece set that was showcased via an incredible evening of dance, music and art auction where all proceeds went towards helping create meaningful social change to empower Melbourne’s refugee youth. Due to the success of the print, we collaborated to create a limited run capsule collection where our in-house designed print would be crafted onto 3 new items and sold through TSS and búl stores. All items are 100% cotton and include 2 signature styles + 1 new design with all aspects from design through to completion made in Melbourne, Australia.
Each item is thoughtfully named to reflect our Australian roots - from the ‘Banksia’, a beautiful native wildflower to the ‘Apostles’, a collection of stacked limestone and the ‘Daintree’, Australia’s largest tropical rainforest.
Banksia top Classic tee style with hemline that can be tied or left open.
Daintree dress Sleeveless midi style with gathered panel hemline and keyhole button closure at the back neck.
Apostles skirt Elasticated waist style with drawstring, side seam pockets, and can be worn high on the waist or low on the hips for a full maxi length.
